Margaritaville is a multi-billion-dollar global lifestyle brand. It encompasses stores, hotels, bars, restaurants, frozen foods, water parks, luxury resorts, tequila, footwear, casinos, retirement villages, and more—all inspired by Jimmy Buffett’s hit songs. Essentially, the song “Margaritaville” reflects a laid-back lifestyle in a tropical climate, where all troubles and responsibilities disappear.

MY ROLE

As a member of Margaritaville’s creative development team, I contributed to their rebranding initiative by launching a new website, designing and executing cross-platform digital and print campaigns, and producing lifestyle-branded graphics for worldwide distribution.

DESTINATION MARGARITAVILLE

Destination Margaritaville” was the launch campaign for the redesigned Margaritaville website. To enhance the user experience, I revamped the navigation of the new site with a more friendly and creative approach, using actions words like “EXPLORE”, “STAY”, “DINE”, “SHOP”. Additionally, I created the headlines and designs for all of the display ads and social media graphics used to promote and drive traffic to the new site.

The background design patterns in these ads were whimsically inspired by the unique footprints left by each shoe’s sole.
