The Energy Corridor in Houston, Texas, is a vibrant business district home to major energy giants like BP, Shell, ConocoPhillips, and Citgo. Renowned for its role in driving innovation and industry within the energy sector, the Energy Corridor boasts over 26 million square feet of office space and supports a workforce of more than 105,000. This district is a crucial component of Houston’s economy and a significant player on the global energy stage.
MY ROLE
I was instrumental in the rebranding of The Energy Corridor, taking on responsibilities that included creating graphics and illustrations, redesigning the website, managing it, and overseeing digital marketing promotions. My work not only enhanced the visual appeal of The Energy Corridor’s online presence but also significantly boosted awareness, user engagement and interaction, showcasing my ability to blend creative design with effective digital strategy.
WEBSITE REDESIGN
I developed the information architecture, design and functionality of The Energy Corridor’s new website to incorporate branding guidelines, while ensuring a modern and engaging user experience. The website features user-friendly dynamic functionality that allows visitors to effortlessly explore and discover local restaurants (sortable by food type), hotels, parks, events, communities, and venues. It includes an interactive map highlighting proximity to major freeways and airports, along with sections for news, events, and newsletter feeds. Additionally, email newsletter signup integration and a District Board of Director’s public information section makes the website a valuable resource for businesses, residents, and visitors alike.
